Coming Soon! Natural Dye Workshop

Join me and spend 2 hours learning all about the magical process of botanical dyeing. I'll show you how to create a myriad of beautiful colours from plants all around you. You'll learn the whole dyeing process from start to finish and get to dye your own piece to take home in a colour of your choice. This hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone interested in starting a new hobby, or learning more about sustainable colours on textiles.   

The class will cover:

- how to choose fabrics for dyeing

- how to scour and mordant fabrics

- which dye plants to use

- how to make a dye bath

- how to change colours using modifiers

- Q&A / After care

What you'll take home:

All materials will be provided. You'll take home an information booklet filled with dyed swatches from the class, plus your own dyed piece.

Limited to 6 places.
