Shibori Dyeing Workshop

Join me and learn how to create beautiful and unique patterns on textiles using the ancient art of shibori. You will learn 4 different techniques: itajime, kanoko, arashi, ori nui., plus resist dyeing with mordants. With this hands-on workshop you will be able to experiment with different designs on swatches, then dye your own piece to take home. This 2 hour workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to get creative with the art of botanical dyeing.

Leave with: swatches and a finished piece designed and dyed by you, a printed workbook for future reference and a greater understanding of botanical magic!

All materials will be provided. Please bring an apron as indigo can get quite messy.  

Minimum 5 places, maximum of 8.
